The Ministry ofTelecommunications and Information Technology condemns the crime of U.S.aggression targeting telecommunications networks in Amran and Saada provinces.At dawn on Friday, Ramadan 28, 1446 AH (March 28, 2025)، U.S. warplanestargeted the telecommunications network in Al-Aswad Mountain in Amran provincewith five airstrikes. Similarly, the telecommunications network at the Labdasite in Saada province was hit by multiple airstrikes, resulting in thecomplete destruction of broadcasting stations, communication towers, andtransmission networks at these locations. This led to the disruption oftelecommunications and internet services in several areas, depriving tens ofthousands of citizens of these essential services.

The U.S. aggressionlaunched these hostile airstrikes on civilian facilities that provide essentialservices to citizens, coinciding with the recent deliberate and indiscriminatebombings of several civilian sites by the U.S. enemy in multiple provinces ofthe republic. These attacks have led to the martyrdom and injury of dozens ofcitizens and caused significant material damage to public and privateproperties.

The Ministry ofTelecommunications and Information Technology affirms that the deliberate U.S.bombing of these civilian facilities is a continuation of the American-Saudiaggression and its allies against the Yemeni people. This aggression hasincluded the systematic and ongoing destruction of the telecommunications andpostal sector for ten years, which began under U.S. leadership on March 26,2015. This renewed criminal aggression is a new step in the American enemy'sefforts to divide and destroy the telecommunications sector in Yemen byestablishing illegal entities in occupied provinces and introducingunauthorized and unlicensed services in those areas through companies linked toits intelligence agencies, such as Starlink and others.

These American crimes areall aimed at destroying the telecommunications sector, which serves allcitizens across the Republic of Yemen. They clearly expose the ugliness of theU.S. enemy’s actions and its malicious criminal objectives against our peopleand nation. Unfortunately, these crimes continue amid international silencefrom the global community and the International Telecommunication Union.

Accordingly, the Ministryof Telecommunications and Information Technology holds the United States ofAmerica fully responsible—legally, ethically, and for all resulting losses andconsequences of these crimes, past and present.
